Connect your workspace
Use Connected Apps → Custom apps and enter https://app.usemytemplate.cc/mcp when your account is eligible. Google currently documents US personal-account and English-language restrictions. Gemini CLI provides a separate remote HTTP/OAuth route.
What the assistant can do
Authorized assistants use the same saved clients, templates, drafts and plan limits. Tools support branding, PDF imports, mapping, versioned revisions, downloads and plan-enabled business workflows. Previewed changes retain confirmation receipts. Sending, payment execution and final document approval remain outside these chat tools.
Files and interactive controls
The standard MCP Apps panel offers selected-file upload, saved-page preview and download in supporting hosts. ChatGPT file helpers are optional enhancements. Other hosts can read saved records, receive image results and obtain expiring PDF links; upload through the workspace if the host cannot transfer files.
Verification status
The shared MCP endpoint supports OAuth discovery and registered loopback callbacks for CLI clients. Live acceptance in Gemini Apps and Gemini CLI remains pending; availability depends on Google.
Plans and permissions
Reconnect to authorize newly added management tools. Business workflows require Business access regardless of assistant. Review and revoke permissions in account settings. Provider plans, regional availability and directory acceptance remain separate.
